What is Dynamic Pilates?

Choreographed by our talented Pilates instructors, Dynamic Pilates is a more traditional flowing work-out. Trained in rehabilitation alongside Physios, our instructors have an exceptional eye for detail, making sure you’re doing the right movements in the right ways. Dynamic Pilates incorporates aspects of fitness and rehabilitative Pilates using state-of-the-art machinery. Dynamic Pilates is the perfect complement to your well-being regime and can enhance recovery from injury.

Balham Dynamic Pilates - How To Start

Initial Assessment- Before your first Solo or Duet session with us, you’ll need to be fully assessed by a Pilates Instructor. This is in order to create a goal-led plan targeting your specific needs. You do not need an assessment to attend a Dynamic Pilates Class, only 1:1 or 2:1 sessions.

Solo Dynamic Pilates- A private Pilates session, bespoke and targeted to you. You will have tailored sessions incorporating mat work and machine based Pilates. Your Instructor will monitor your progress and help to motivate you towards your goals.

Duet Dynamic Pilates- Just like a private above but you share the session with one other participant. You will have an individually customised programme incorporating mat work and machine-based Pilates.

I initially sort treatment to manage severe chronic neck pain from Cervical spondylitis. I was also due for a knee replacement, both degenerative conditions. Emma is highly skilled in the precise attention to the details of rehabilitation. Her ability to focus intently on 3 clients with different health issues in the same session is constant. It is that energetic approach that has resulted in my ability to build strength and to retain overall function. My neck pain has reduced considerably and I was able to recover from the knee surgery rapidly.
